A lone person walks the line between mist-shrouded waves and piled-up driftwood at Long Beach, BC, Canada.

Taken from Tunnel Mountain, this image shows part of the Bow River and the Banff Golf Course at the foot of Mount Rundle, Alberta, Canada.

Taken during the historic 120 mile ski-out from the Yukon Alpine Centennial Expedition in 1967, the image shows the confluence of the south arm of the Kaskawalsh Glacier (left) to the central and north (right) arms - Yukon, Canada.

The larch - or tamarack - tree is common around the 7500' - 8500' elevation in the Rocky Mountains of Canada where its usual green needles turn a brilliant orange each autumn - making it the only conifer that sheds all of its needles each year.
